I was so angry yesterday I wanted someone to start shit with me just so I could get into a fist fight while I was looking for loft beds at Walmart.
-people who waltz up to the counter and start talking to me when I'm in the middle of taking someone's order
THIS, people do this to me ALL THE TIME. WHY??? It's something I would not have fathomed prior to the experience. It just doesn't occur to me to barge into a place and start talking to a person who is clearly busy. The other day someone did it to me when I was in the middle of a cash register sale and I had to think hard because I was coding in all this fabric and I had a gigantic line and was THE ONLY CASHIER so this guy decided to bother me. When I didn't answer him HE CAME UP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE REGISTER TO BOTHER ME CLOSER. NO NONONONONONONONO
I'm not going to lie and say most of humanity I encounter isn't a cesspool of privilege and learned entitlement. Sometimes I'm just so disappointed in everything I wish that my face would just melt off.
Why would someone hand you garbage at the drive thru. What. I. I don't understand.
