More BJD musings
I've been lazy today. I was supposed to study a whole lot more than what I have, but oh well, I got plenty of stuff done anyway...
Last Saturday was funfunfun! =^~^= We had the meeting and I met more new people (and got to be a surrogate mom as well for a really nice young girl who was at a meeting for the first time) and being with dolls was really relaxing. I'm a bit embarrassed, however, of how hysterical I was almost the entire time, but hey, I had been ill and I hadn't gotten proper sleep the night before. Add sugar and coffee and voilá: one hysterical young lady, coming right up XD
Later in the evening Gwen and Qkuu came over and we tried to do something about my Renoimé's stickiness. The new varnish seems to be working, poor Meme's head is now manageable, no longer like covered with wet paper glue... Stupid faulty batch of varnish cans, the problem seemed to be the original varnish we used, the whole batch was faulty, it wasn't neutral, it was too acid resulting in a nasty reaction... The new varnish seems to have somewhat fixed this. *is extremely relieved*
We also ordered Meme's body, thank you Gwen for your help, I wouldn't have gotten it without you and your paypal =^.^= < 3 and thank you Qkuu, you helped us to actually order it - I'm so embarrassed about being so lost when it comes to ordering stuff from ebay and such... If I'm lucky, Meme's body will be here before the next meeting =^o^=
As for getting Volks F-16 as my second doll... the plan was buried today. I will get him, as he has already told me so much about himself, my beloved Jääprinssi (he might end up with a different name, but that is what I call him at the moment, it's a "working title", you could say...), but he won't be the next one. Yes, I have also buried (permanently) my grand plan of "Just Meme And One Other Doll To Keep Him Company"... The next one will be Yder. The old Yder, not the new one. Once I have saved the money, I will contact Luts and show them the picture of the old Yder and say "With this wig and make-up, thank you pretty please".
What resulted this sudden change of plans? A VISION! Yes, one of those you just simply can't ignore... I had already decided to get Yder, but he was now lifted up in the "order of purchasing".
What's the vision, you ask? Well, I listened to a CD today for the first time... and there was this song... and the song painted vivid images and I got an INSPIRATION... and suddenly I knew Yder would be a perfect first friend for Meme. The song revived my original idea about the personality for Yder, enhanced it a bit, tweaked it a bit here and there, and voilá! I also suddenly got a vision of Yder's arrival and all the little mishief the duo will end up in XD

I love that song, and the moment it started, I just simply knew... *grin* I could see the two of them there, together, I could see their wonderful little love-hate friendship, the fights, the tender moments, the mischievous smiles when they are planning some mischief again... oh I just love it XD

Got to go now, I have to go to buy some groceries and pay a bill, I'll be paying my new Rosen Maiden Original Soundtrack today, so luckily I'll get it within couple weeks =^~^=
