It's alive!!!!
So after about a month and a half with no internet, finally, we have internet! The only problem is, only one of us can use it at a time. (Neighborr's wireless doesn't work, so either she can hook it up to the base station so I can use it, or she can hook up the ethernet cord rendering me helpless in the next building over.) But for tonight, I get to use it! Hooray!
Well, it's October in Japan. Well, I assume it is October in the USA too. I got the WORST sunburn of the year. Not in the heat of August when I was at the pool, not when I was outside playing tennis up in the mountains. It was an incredibly brilliant day, no clouds, and I spent the whole day outside at my school's sports festival. Lots of running, losing tug of war (man high schoolers are sure strong.... much stronger than puny junior high kids), and lots of sun. So now I sit here painfully with aloe all over my face and shoulders, watching my newest addiction, House. Something so great about that show. I like House's biting sarcasm and a brain bigger than all the docs he works with combined.
Aside from my veryr ed skin, Japan has been treating me well lately. I'm enjoying it while trying to figure out what the hell I am going to do with my future. So far, no luck figuring that out.
