Turns out i'm not ill enough...
Bloods were fine. I asked what they checked, and they said WBC, renal function, and inflammatory mediators.
Ok...i'm no doctor but
a) why the fuck did they take quite so much blood to just check that?
and b) if they knew i'd been vomitting, surely they should have checked potassium among other things??
So they reckon its gastroenteritis. Again, i'm no doctor but.....
Actually that's slighty unfair. Its a reasonable diagnosis to make on the info they had.
So it was a case of take these anti-emetics and you'll feel much better. Oh i doubt that, i really doubt that very much.
Just been chatting to one of my closest friends from uni - he knows about parts of my e.d / low moods.
I told him i was gonna call the uni tomorrow and quit placement, so he's gonna call me in a bit and talk it through on the phone.
As in talk through what i'm gonna say, not try and talk me out of it!!
Thats the best thing i can think of right now. apart from continuing to devour an awful lot of food as quickly as i can....
