Just have to get this out
While I was preparing my first ever set of Christmas cards this year. I had a set that was to go to my old place of employement "The Riverview Towers" (where I worked seceraty all summer long.) I wasn't sure about one of the residents last name. So after some thinking I thought I figured it out, I knew the apartment number was correct. So I thought, well as long as the apt number is on their, it should be all right.
I was wrong, the first name of the person I sent it too was similar to another person that lived in the building, and it turned out the wrong person got it. And to make matters worse, this person has been deacesed since last May.
I just got a letter from the deceased son thanking me for the card. I have met the man once or twice but not well enough to send out a card.
I feel very distraught , next time I'm going to be 100% sure before I mail cards again.
