Feeling better today, though still working from home and not entirely over the sick. I am, however, feeling the weird throat thing again. It seems to be congestion-related, maybe? So... more likely allergenic?

Another Vorkosigan fic rec: The Morning Coffee (Prompt was "Gregor and Simon's discussion about whether or not to kick Miles out of the military in Memory," and the fic is very true to Memory -- i.e. pretty heartbreaking -- and Gregor's character.

Day 34 - Favorite classic book
I'm not totally sure how "classic" is defined, but I'll go off this list. My favorites are The Canterbury Tales, Heart of Darkness, The Iliad, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Pride and Prejudice. I actually have a hard time thinking of the Canterbury Tales and the Iliad as a classic in the true sense -- they're ancient lit or early modern lit, but not really comparable to these other guys. So I'll just pretend they aren't included. In which case, I guess I should go with Dorian Gray.
