update; so after some quick peeks at her privates..heh..im pretty sure pennys a he! even though all the male syrians ive seen, have HUGE balls...i'm thinking maybe pennys just a special case? haha. her "balls" or flesh bumps are pretty tiny..they don't really hang down or anything. and i definitely cannot feel them when i hold her. im still kinda skeptical, because ive never ever seen a hamster with such tiny hidden testes. i dunno if there is such a thing as hermaphrodite hamsters..maybe that? i know this all sounds kind-of weird, but im soooo curious as to what her sex is! for now, im going to assume she's a he. her pee-pee hole is not located right next to her 'vagina'. her pee hole is right above the two little ball things...which sounds like a boy to me. i think she's just about full grown..or somewhere between 5-9 months. i got her in january, and only noticed the 'balls' when she was climbing off my hand and stuck her butt in the air. hahaha...
i looked at the sexing chart for babies, and i can see that the females vagina and anus are right next to each other...mine's aren't very far from each other, but aren't exactly next to each other...sounds like a male to you guys? the anus and vagina on a female are located directly next to each other, correct?
