HAMSTER EMERGENCY =/ PLEASE HELP
Ok, so my 6-month Ginger just got reunited with me at school here in my dorm room. My mom and my brother were taking care of her for about 3 weeks. When I had left for school, she looked fine. Today is night 2 of her stay with me and I noticed a little dot scab on one of her left toes by the nail. I'm sure that that is nothing; perhaps it is a little cut that is healing.
But here is the more serious issue:
Then, today I noticed on her other paw, the right paw, her pinky toe is very swollen! The swelling makes her pinky toe look shorter. She doesn't seem to be in pain, since she is actively running in her ball and in her wheel. She is as sweet as when I left her. I'm just really worried that her pinky toe will worsen. I tried to take a picture of it, but she is so fidgety and my batteries are low, so the picture was delayed.

Has anything like this every happened to your hammie?
Should I take her to the vet?
How much is the vet?
