He’s backstage, hands sweaty as he wipes them on his pants (leather, not exactly water absorbent but he’s too nervous to notice) before they flutter up to smooth out the fur around his collar and non-existent wrinkles on his shirt. His hands are about to go to his hair when a larger, warmer hand stops their quest and a gentle kiss is pressed to his palm and he looks up to find Yunho smiling softly at him. Changmin smiles back shakily before saying hoarsely This is worse than our debut. What if I mess up hyung? What if the Cassiopeians aren’t there? What if we’ve lost our name? What if--- Yunho shuts him up by clamping his hand down on Changmin’s dry lips as he replies calmly, We haven’t lost any of our fans Min-ah. And you won’t mess up. I know you won’t because we’ve been practicing so, so hard for this. We’re forever DBSK, as two and as five. So stop worrying. You’ll get wrinkles before you’re thirty and the make-up noona-deul will have a hard time hiding them. Changmin laughs softly as he pulls away Yunho’s hand and smiles brightly, eyes going mismatched before they are called onto the stage. He feels himself tear up when he sees the sea of red in front of him and he sings, sings with all his heart for his lost brothers, for the fans and for the man with the most beautiful heart standing right next to him. Because Yunho, Yunho is the reason behind his need for DBSK to stay.
