Well, blast. We didn't get the house that I really wanted, but we found a really decent, cute house that has an amazing vibe and is in a much better location. It needs some fixing up, but I think the house is going to be wonderful. And we're closing on Monday ( Read more... )

We're almost done painting our new duplex! I love this place. It's the second floor (the servant's quarters, heh) and the attic of a house built in the late 1880s, and it still has so many of the original details. The outside is a mess right now as the landlady and her husband are renovating it up and trying to return it to its original state ( Read more... )
