10 Years Ago I was a proud Xientian. I still am now.
10 years ago around this time...
...I was in highschool we were about to graduate
...Our batch almost did not graduate because of some crappy leakage issue on Chemistry (everyone got above 90% which was crazy because well, it was Chemistry)
...I spent after school hours at SM Annex waiting for my parent to pick me up. This meant waiting for at least 2 hours.
...I was a geek who took studying all too seriously and hung out with almost all cliques (I never believed in being friends with only one group)
Now...
...I'm working in an industry with no direct relationship with what my High School was all about (Sciences)
...Of all batches I've trained, theres always someone who doesn't make it
...Wala nang SM Annex
...I'm still a geek who reads on useless facts and prefers reading text books over novels
I wrote this because this was the introduction format used to introduce ourselves in the Batch Reunion. I can't believe it's been 10 years since.
Being there with people I was with 10 years ago was a flashback of all sorts of memories, almost surreal. People haven't changed much in the looks department except for a few folks who gained/lost weight.
It felt great reuniting with a lot of my batchmates after all these years. I remembered how much fun it was then.
