It's begun....
The wedding planning has officially begun. Eek!
Monday night I went to Barnes&Noble to look for wedding planning books. Most of them were a bit stuffy for my taste but I found a few good ones:
Anti-Bride Etiquette Guide: The Rules - And How to Bend Them
and
Anti-Bride Guide: Tying the Knot Outside of the Box
I ended up finding them on Half.com for under $10 for both! So they are in the mail. I also purchased 2 Boston wedding magazines and each time I attempt to read them I fall asleep. LoL.
Eric and I have started to contact potential reception sites. We want to set a date soon and have the venue booked. That way we can start a more specific budget and start thinking about the specific details. There is soooo much to think about! Here's what we know for sure so far:
Colors: Red and white with a touch of black or silver.
Understated theme: ROCK AND ROLL BABY!!!! Yet very elegant. LOTS of candles.
Music: Definitely a band. My dad wants to start checking out potentials ASAP. LoL. He just wants an excuse to rock.
