There is so much people need to learn about the internet and the distribution of information. I have just been looking or rather attempting to find out information about an upcoming event and have been totally put off by the usage of a font which is frankly unreadable and the fact it is entirely made from images. I don't want to spend an hour decoding something to find out information. Oh and whilst on the subject I'm going to have a bitch about serifs as well. I hate them. With a passion. An amazing way to make a font down right ugly when over used. That curly g is horrible as well. Anyway back to my point. The internet is a source of masses of information but a substantial amount is made generally unusable by shoddy web design, poor user journeys or use of far too many images. Yes this may be the age of broadband but there still is no excuse. People access the web not using broadband or with a text reader in the the case of the blind and they are part of your audience.
I would just like to point out that I didn't get out of bed on the wrong side this morning but sometimes things build to a boiling point and need to be vented.
