I missed Gotan Project!
God DAMN it! I was watching TV tonight and there was ad for a CD on SBS of the WOMADelaide CD they've released. The ad was set to Queremos Pas by Gotan Project.
I thought "Oh, cool... Gotan Project... on an ad on TV... for an album... about a live music show..... that was in Adelaide....... where I live........... last night............."
The most shocking of pennies dropped and I ran to to my room to check the schedule for WOMAD and sure enough - Gotan Project played LAST NIGHT.
I am seriously crushed. Gotan Project are one of my favouritest bands. I can't BELIEVE I let it slip past me. I may never get another chance to see them. :(
Luckily I have lots of vodka, Kahlúa and milk to help salve the injury. White Russians, you're my only friend.
