So, I was offered a job today. Yay! A real job! For me!
I've been having plumbers come out to give estimates on getting a sink in the garage and it seems like it isn't going to happen. I just don't have 5,000 in my business account for one crappy sink. The good news is that I can afford to buy a portable sink! I hadn't even thought about that but my friend Jeremy suggested looking into it. I guess there is one at his store.
I think it would be totally sufficient for my needs, and they have little water heaters and everything.
Last night I had a really wonderful time cooking and eating with anja. We biked to the farmer's market on my newfound super-flat route (I hate hills!), gathered ingredients and then made a zucchini snow pea salad and asparagus fava bean risotto. Anja had amazing endurance stirring the risotto! It was super creamy. We also made lemon-thyme loaf (well, I made it while anja stirred and stirred...) and that was good too.
Today is beautiful. I should be outside but I am tired. I have to set up drip lines before I leave, so I will probably do that this evening. Like, now. Bye!
