I had a job interview today at the Portland Jewish Academy. I think it went well; The three women interviewing me said some very nice and encouraging words. I think I will get a second interview at least, but you never know.
This morning Aron and I ate at our favorite place, Paradox Cafe, but the food made me incredibly nauseated and I spent the morning and early afternoon trying very hard not to throw up. I went to the Vietnamese market and bought some ginger candy and ate probably 15 of them and the nausea slowly subsided. I am not sure I will ever be able to eat at the Paradox again. Just thinking about it makes me feel awful!
Last Thursday went well after all. I went into it with a positive attitude and that helped a lot. I could have been really grumpy, but instead I decided to not worry and just let happen whatever happens. So I had fun! I was next to Branda who sells vintage goblets turned into soy wax candles. They are really pretty and a creative way to reuse all that glass swag from the 70's. It only rained for five random minutes during the evening, and there was even a rainbow. Hooray First Thursday!
