West New York Stand Up

It is official - Today has been the hottest day yet. Earlier on around one or two I took a walk to my mans house, he wasn't home - of course. "I'll swing by your crib first thing in the morning, 2D". Yeah, aight. This dude is harder to find than winning the lottery in all three states in the Tri-State area.

You can tell just how hot it is by going ( Read more... )

So much to say, so little time.

Such big words from someone so "hard" that they post anonymous. Let me gather myself before I start this shit...

First of all, have you ever been to West New York? If you have, then you will know that it's not Paradise. It's tough as hell here, and I can tell you that because I've seen more shit when I've been here than I care to detail. The area is totally submerged in urban culture, there are no white folk around for miles. Joey's family is Italian. They are the only "white" family in the area.

Joey struggles with his situation on a daily basis. He's from an area, where he is the fucking minority. He grew up the life that the "Brick City Niggas" that you talk about lived. His family went through the same struggles, the same hardships, and the same drama. People make fun of posers all the time, I know that, and I feel the same way. It's sad to see that someone who grew up an easy life wants so badly to be "hard" that they emulate the "ghetto kids" so that they feel just a little bit more real. The whole point of this is that Joey is the real. He grew up in the ghetto, in the projects, just like everyone you're talking about. "Niggas from Newark" are the people he fucking chills with man. The people that he calls his people. He speaks like he's fucking ghetto, because he is fucking ghetto. But he is an incredibly intelligent individual, just about the most intelligent I know. And he accomplished this shit growing up in an area where no one gave a shit about him, where no one ever let him live his fucking color down.

So, if you will kindly step off his nuts and go back to playing your games elsewhere, I would greatly appreciate it. You need to fucking know someone before you start spouting shit. Save your breath for someone who really is "posing" and let him go about his life. When you and your boys from Brick are ready to come down and represent, I'm sure he'll be waiting. And when you come to realize that your boys don't have time for this bullshit drama started over the internet because they're too busy living their real life, maybe then you will think twice before you spout empty threats online.

Till then, stay "Tough."

Malice

P.s. He doesn't have a mullet, man, for fuck's sake. He's has long hair, and when you have long hair and put on a hat, that's what it looks like. So, if you're looking for someone with a mullet to rip off and piss in his face, you better keep on walking; however, if you're looking for a tough ass Italian who takes offense to someone challenging his "realness" then you've come to the right place. Enjoy the stay, you've earned your troll title.

Since day one I've always had an inner struggle with finding myself, especially since I've moved to an area that is a complete opposite of my hometown. I've noticed that the whole 'urban' lifestyle has been watered down by today's pop culture, considering everybody and their mother seems to be interested in being 'ghetto' lately.

Some people go through life with the most basic of principles, and classify people in categories because of the most basic attributes.

One thing I've learned in my days (Nearly 23 years - an old man in hood standards) is that it isn't necessarily what color or ethnicity you are, but it pertains more to the environment you are raised in.

When people first meet me, the first thing they notice is how much of a sarcastic asshole I am, and how I have the permanent 'chip on my shoulder', and I agree %100 with them, I know what I am - and my people dear to me know exactly why I am the way I am.

If some ignorant asshole wants to pop-off in an anonymous fashion over the internet no less, More power to them -- it just shows how 'hood' they really are.

I've said it once and I'll say it again - I am a product of my environment. Period.
