First day back to school. Kickin' it with the fresh new white on white 'Ones, I had a mildly good day even though I came to the realization that I got a 77 on my Mid-Term for Art History. Now that I look back on it, I took the test too quickly and really didn't think about certain things - and some things that I should of known I didn't have a clue on.
Whats New?
1- I taught my dog Grimm a new trick. He already knows how to sit - I just taught him "down". Which basically is a command to make him lay down and sit sort of like a sphinx. Now that I've come up with that metaphor, Grimm is my protector - and a sphinx protects respected pyramids - so that works itself out naturally.
I love my dog - I've noticed that myself and Meghan (and her family of course) are the only people he really trusts and is comfortable around. A while ago we took O.G. (Oliver Grimm) to the park, and Meghan had to stop somewhere for something, and I was waiting in the whip with Grimm - and everybody that went by he started wilding out at. I know its not the best thing for him to do, but I can't help but feel protected when he watches my back like that. As a matter of fact - right now as I type this he is sitting at my feet looking up at me. He's my dog, and thats my word.
*barks*
2- I copped some new headphones after accidentally sitting on them. In retrospect, the new pair I bought is 20x better than the old pair - these new ones are actually studio moniter headphones, so the clarity is uncomparable. It was one of those things where I sat *CRUNCH* and didn't even realize what I did until it was too late.
3- I bought a new album (not necessarily new, but new to me)- "Death Is Certain" by the *real* king of Detroit, Royce 5'9". I don't give a fuck what anyone says, Eminem can rule his Warren Michigan suburb, but he needs to keep to his boundries before some real shit goes down.
4- I'm always saying this, I know - but I'm going to go out and buy a new canvas and rock out a new painting. Its going to be off the hook.
