Whats new?
After nearly submitting to the fact that I would probably never *EVER* find a classic pair of Air Force Ones in Laffayette, I hit the jackpot. It doesn't get any better than a fresh crispy new pair of 'Ones- just ask Nelly and his crew. White on white high-tops, laces freshly gutted and re-done in the style unique to my old squad back home (Reppin' the 201- holla at me.) I wouldn't say it would indicate any sort of 'gang affiliation', but each squad/block would have their own little uniqueness about them, whether it be certain style of clothing they wear, to colors, to even the minute details of the way someone laces their kicks. All these things are a factor which are seldomly overlooked and underappreciated by the majority of those that just don't know.
March 19th. If you don't know what drops on the 19th, you should be slapped. For everyone that doesn't know, I happen to be a huge horror movie fanatic. A little piece of history was made *way* back in 1978 by the critically acclaimed one and only George A. Romero. The name of this little project which would later become a huge cult classic was "Dawn Of The Dead." This film happens to be my #1 favorite movie of all time - which says a lot. Anyway, getting to the point: On March 19th the remake of Dawn Of The Dead will hit theaters in the US. Which is a beautiful thing, at least in my mind. If you are into horror movies, or just have the urge to check out somethin' new (which is something old, ironically enough) pick up a copy of Dawn Of The Dead at your local DVD retailer. You won't be disappointed, and if you are -- Oh well.
As far as school goes, I got a B so far after mid-terms. I'm actually pissed off that I didn't get an A, but thats just the way it goes.
