A half dollar-sized successor (or perhaps former minion) of the Demon Queen that once held sway over the dominion of the Medical Wing spun a web in the upper corner of my office's window sometime between afternoon tea and library close. The kitten I found last night, brave, dear creature, not only lured it from its hideout, but proceeded to catch it, eat most of the legs, and drop the helpless body on my keyboard as a present, shortly followed by a rogue moth that had had the misfortune to be trespassing.
I must confess, I am.... smitten. I cannot part with the sweet thing under any circumstance.
Now, I needs must type up a presentation to the Dean, outlining how a feline-oriented pest control program would be much more cost-effective than the monthly spraying of hazardous chemicals among the Demon Queen's former nesting-places.....
