She is dealing with it love, just in her own way .. Some people go into denial, others try to make it out to be 'no big thing' and personally I would be over the moon delighted if my daughter told me she was gay (but she isn't) .. The e/d thing is terrifying for a parent, or friend etc .. But as someone who can relate to you on this issue, just do your best & that is all that anyone can ever exoect from you ..
