This week is from the devil.
Seriously, the devil spawned this particular week.

I should have known that this would contain events that would force a cynical side of me not yet known to surface.
Have any of you fellow cyber folk ever had something happen to you that threw everything you knew about emotions out the window? I'm not talking things like deaths in the family or events that are justifiably sad. I'm talking about things that feel like they put your entire ability to feel anything (happiness, sadness, joy, anger, frustration...) in a blender and hit puree.
Prior to this week, I thought that graduating from college was the most emotionally confusing thing one could ever go through. I was so wrong.
Life has a funny way of trying its damnedest to make cynics out of the lot of us.
I'm trying to fight it.
