More school!
So, I had mentioned earlier today that I was thinking of taking some classes this summer. Well I sprung the plan on my parents and they didn't freak out!! That's a first, really. I explained my plan to quit the evil retail job and keep the second part time one and they were totally cool with that.
Generally my university is being paid for by my student loans, so really I can do whatever I want since I'm paying for the majority of it (Or will be eventually) however they do contribute a small amount so I think I at least owe it to them to let them know my plans.
After looking at classes I NEED to take, I ended up registering for 2 art classes since they worked out the best schedule wise. It means for the first half of summer I am in a drawing class, the second half I am in a painting class. Class everyday from 9:30-12:30, time in the afternoon to work on projects and then work from 4:00pm-9;00pm each night with the occasional Saturday shift, works out very well.
This means I CAN QUIT HORRIBLE RETAIL JOB! I am going to do so as soon as I get back to Saskatoon. I feel sort of mean since I'm not giving my boss any notice, but classes start in a week, and well, my boss sucks.
I am happy I am taking classes. I LIKE being in school, I feel sort of weird not being in school, lol
