an evening out

It's been blissfully sunny and warm all week. Better enjoy this while it lasts; I'm pretty sure we'll be back to the usual cold, grey rainy gloominess in no time. I'm enjoying my holidays - I have almost two weeks off from volunteering, which is *so* nice. I might actually catch up on letter writing and finish reading Sofi Oksanen's 'Purge', and I'm also thinking of trying to learn to read crochet patterns so that I could make something out of Creepy Cute Crochet that I got for Christmas from Moony. No, I'm not late with that at all... :p

I went for a walk on Thursday. It was such a lovely, sunny day, I couldn't possibly just have stayed at home all day. I discovered that the fields and woods behind the Beacon Centre for the Blind are possibly even prettier than the Sedgley Beacon where I've been before. It's bluebell season again and I found something magical...!
