Life, The Universe, And Everything (42)
Life moves pretty quick. If you dont pay attention, you’ll forget to blog about it.
Lots has happened in the last month. Meg and I have gotten the house mostly squared away. We have laundry services, we have the nerd cave set up. The grill is on the back porch, and tiki torches are installed. We’ve even had one family dinner, and a thanksgiving dinner already. Its hard to believe its been a month. Seems like more, seems like less. Either way, Im pleased.
Today was especially awesome. We started the day by heading out to purchase a dishwasher. We had to drive to a second home depot in Clackamas, but we found the one we wanted. Then, I had to rent a trailer from uHaul in order to get it home. But we succeeded. Then we went to the Humane society, and found two awesome kittens. Appropriately named Gozer and Zuul. Both girls. One black, one tabby-ish. The black one, Zuul, runs around like a monkey and plays a lot. The tabby, Gozer, is quieter. More of a lap cat. I think they’ll make the house all that much more awesome.
Then the downside to the evening. The dishwasher connection kit that I bought, doesnt fit the dishwasher. Retrofitting other tubes didnt solve the problem. A trip to Fred Meyer proved useless. Now, I need to go back to Home Depot in the morning in order to get the correct hookup, so that I can mate everything together and wash me some fuckin dishes. I really wanted to do this tonight, I’d like to state for the record. Instead, I’ve played with kitties and eaten pizza. Tomorrow, I’ll conquer the home depot. Bitches.
Okay, and now, back to playing with kittens!
