[Diana is taking a walk and pauses when she sees Svala. She might as well make small talk. It doesn't hurt to make new friends.]

Hello.

Good day. [Svala sits back on her heels all prim and proper to pay her the appropriate amount of courtesy and attention.]

You have a lovely garden. [Really, she barely notices the weeds!]

[Svala bows her head in gratitude.]

Thank you.

Forgive me, but I do not believe we have met. May I ask your name?

My name is Diana. And yours?

Svala.

I would offer my hand, but perhaps it would be best to refrain.

[She does stand up though, brushing herself off a little bit though it doesn't do her dirty fingers any good.]

How are you finding Luceti thus far?

Oh no, it's all right.

[A pause as she thinks about her answer.]

It's quite pleasant. Most of the time.

Ah, yes. I have heard about these spirits. They are said to grant those who contact them powers?

In the best case scenario, yes.

[She gestures to the garden.] I merely wish to commune with the spirits, but I cannot deny the added benefits.

Perhaps I should also commune with them, for curiosity's sake. I have no desire to gain more abilities - my goddesses have given me enough of them.

[Ooooh, other people's religions. Svala loves talking about those.]

May I inquire further on the nature of your goddesses?

Of course. Are you familiar with the Greek pantheon?

I am afraid not. [But it sounds fascinating. She wants to know.]
