LJ Idol stuff: my story for the week is here. This week's voting is set up so that only one person from a pair can move onto the next round, meaning either I or my partner will go to the Top Four, but not both of us. Have I said how much I hate this situation? Ugh.
To cheer us all up: 32 Greatest Unscripted Movie Scenes. Includes an iconic moment in Indiana Jones, and the best and most profound line in Bladerunner. Really surprising.
Also, in my continuing mission to get more people to watch the feed from bluepueblo_tmbr... Cthulhu House (seriously, even without the eye-windows I don't think I could ever see that differently), Pierrefonds Castle in snow (something in that picture strikes me as Hogwartian. Am I nuts?), and two pictures from France and Greece that do MUCH more for me than the red-door feng shui thing all over my neighborhood. I don't think it's just that I love blue so much, either.
Last, I have no real opinion about this picture from Trondheim, but thanks to a Monty Python record I bought in college, the word "Trondheim" always makes me think of one of the little background comedy threads: "Zen, ve throw ze old ladies into ze fjords..."
