It's a miracle!

I finished a bicycle ride today without having to stop to change the back tire. Only took 5 tries! Along the ride, I saw two hummingbirds chasing each other, and a snowy egret sitting in a tree. Egrets are so large that they look as if they'll break the tree. It's just wrong ( Read more... )

Me: You need to stay outside and play for a while.
Tigger: Play? Play? Have you forgotten that I'm old? I haven't 'played' since the Clinton administration!

I just LOLed in real life. Hee!

Oh, thanks! Now I'm going to have the phrase "stop smacking your cat lips!" randomly running through my head all day, making me grin inappropriately at customers.

Made much worse by Smokey sleeping next to me right now, and sometimes when he breathes in? His little cat lips smack. Just a bit! ~snorts

Hahaha!

Both cats do it, usually in their sleep, but I find it oddly annoying. Much like the Whale's "snurgling" sounds, which could be purring or snoring, but mostly sound like he has a major sinus problem and is inflicting it upon us.

Maybe it's the cat version of sleep apnea? It's annoying.

I swear, the Whale never shuts up. He's noisy in his sleep. :0

*shakes head at you* Really! I'm sure that if she wants to play inside anyway, you have perfectly good carpets, curtains, cushions and so on; moreover, she can comfortably sleeps on the couch when she's done.
That said: LOL.

She spent the evening sleeping all that off, and violating one of my pet peeves (or should I say, 'petty' peeves): Stop smacking your cat lips!

That sounds like retaliation for making her play outside ;)

She doesn't really play at all, except for the occasional irresistible pencil or piece of stringy something. I left a skinny, red cloth ribbon out for her this week, because that is right up her alley.

I joke to Christopher that we have to crowbar the cats off the sofa. Both want to go out when the weather is warm, but the Whale (who is NOT old) could easily sleep 24/7. So lazy!
