Writing and cluelessness

I've been meaning to post up a bunch of thoughts on writing, and it seems that it would be better to do it in chunks rather than all at once. Otherwise, I don't see myself getting around to it at all

Clearly. I battle with it for icons and such, and they still come out badly. Look at the one here-- the text is always blurry on my icons (and sometimes the pictures). Other people get these nice sharp images in 100x100 pixels, and I don't know how they do it!

Hate to break it to you but they use Photoshop! - I and they cheat!!! Those using paint are really, really, really good!

I've always suspected that I'd get better results with Photoshop. But considering how old my laptop is, I'm a little nervous about loading it up with graphics stuff.

Every once in awhile the hard disk starts to groan for days on end. And I get even more nervous, and back up all my fic files. :0

BTW does you LP have a USB??

If so then I'd recommend an external hard drive which is more affordable than a new LP or PC and load the program on to that. You can totally run programs off of an external...

Now that you mention it I should totally back up my LP....

It does have an USB port. I've backed up the documents to a USB drive, but mainly I need to download the driver for our external hard drive and use that as well. Just to be safe!
