I might make an apple crumble tomorrow. Only, I don't think I have the recipe! Somebody please post it? :D
----------------------------------------
Ingredients: 1 kg (4-5) apples, 1 lemon, 100gr white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamonpowder, 150 gr butter, 150 gr brown sugar, 150 gr flour
- Pre-heat the oven at 210 °C
- Peel the apples and cut them in pieces, let them cook for a few minutes with the juice from the lemon, the cinnamon and 100 gr white sugar, until they are soft, but still have some "bite"
- Use your hands to mix the (softened) butter, flour and brown sugar (crumble)
- Butter an oven dish, put the apples in it, put the crumble on top of it, put it in the pre-heated oven for approx. 20 minutes
- Take it out of the oven, and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes (this lets the crust become crunchy, it will be soft when you take it out of the oven)
- Eat it warm/lukewarm, preferably with some vanilla icecream or freshly whipped cream on the side
