that's just so effed up. i don't really follow this group, but i've been following what has been happening to some extent. and it's just all kinds of wrong how something he did like 4 years ago is being brought up now. IT WAS 4 YEARS AGO!!! my gawd, they don't even give him a break on something like that! wtf?! i feel so bad for him. having to put up with all the shit being thrown at him by antis. ;_; just wtf. so wrong.
I can't believe how much *power* netizens hold. Their words are so harsh, they drive people to depression, and even suicide.
I feel so bad for Jae, but I think this is the best for him... he doesn't need all the b/s that's thrown at him over there. Just can't believe how fast this escalated, despite JYP saying yesterday that he was going to remain in the group ;____; and 4 YEARS AGO! For stupid MYSPACE comments when he was a TEENAGE BOY. LAKJDFLAJSDLFJSDF.
Just can't believe how fast this escalated me too. i honestly thought it was something that may blow over given a bit of time, but obviously not (and the sad thing is, that it will blow over and probably would of given a bit more time than just A WEEK!) netizens are effing unforgiving and cruel. petitions for suicide, just WTF! this has given netizens even more 'power'. so wrong. and 4 YEARS AGO! For stupid MYSPACE comments when he was a TEENAGE BOY. LAKJDFLAJSDLFJSDF. i just don't get it. something so long ago when he first came over shouldn't matter. he was a boy who probably was going through some kind of culture shock, i can't believe they wouldn't let him off for something like that, SO LONG AGO. it shouldn't even factor into who he is now. i just shake my head. idgi. forcing him pretty much into a corner like that was too effing harsh.
I thought it was going to blow over, too! When I first heard the news, I thought it was just a passing thing. Netizens do what they normally do. Didn't think it would go this far, this fast. I can't wrap my mind around it at all.
And now apparently netizens are pulling more Myspace posts where he's saying he's feeling more Korean and is proud of his race. Yeah, good timing. He was going through a LOT and didn't have the support he needed back then... this just proves that he still doesn't have the support. In a twisted sense, this just proves his comments from back then :\
Did he kill anyone? No. Did he commit a crime? No. Did he even do anything remotely immoral? NO. It's absurd and I feel horrible for him. *hugs*
what. the. shit?! i wake up from my nap early today to wake up to this?!?! rly korea?! -____- ive never really been that into 2PM but really? Times like this make wonder why i even listen to kpop.
omg, I'm so out of the kpop loop and I only have a vague idea of what's going on (too many posts on omona! D:).. if it doesn't pain you, can you help enlighten me? :(
Oh man, it flooded over last night! I stayed up so late just to read updates... in summary:
Someone pulled a post that Jay made on MySpace about 4 years ago when he first went to Korea for training. He wrote about how he hated Korea, that it was "gay" and that he wanted to go back home. Honestly? He was 17 or 18 back then, a teenage boy who was all by himself in a country where he didn't know the language and I'm sure wasn't very welcomed.
Netizens went on a rampage, sending him hate messages, telling him to leave the group, leave the country, created a petition for him to commit suicide.
He released an official public apology for what he said. Again, that stuff was said 4 YEARS AGO. And he still has to apologize for it! DX
When fellow 2PM members stood up for him (posts on Cyworld and such), they started verbally attacking them, too.
JYPEnt made an announcement that he was staying in 2PM, that it wasn't right for him to have to give up his dreams for a mistake he did so long ago.

It's so ridiculous. He doesn't deserve that.
