... I have been shoved around a bit today. Perhaps the skates are making some of the cursed more aggressive in them.

... I doubt handing them their innards would solve the problem. The dead here come back to life. Well, they become re-animated after 24 hours. Their heart stops, their body ceases to become warm, but they still ... live.

I find evisceration renders even the dead less steady on their feet.

Perhaps dismemberment would be the failsafe option, though more wearing on a blade.

Elaine Belloc, if the curses last for twenty four hours, then someone remaining dead only for the same period of time would suffice. I can tend my own knives better than any smith, but thank you.
