US Open
Wow, it's been a while (understatement!) since I've posted on here. Pretty pathetic if you think about it.
Anyway, just finished watching Roddick vs. Gimblestob and despite the fact that it was a very poorly played match (Roddick rocked his serve - the only reason he won, honestly, because everything else was beyond sub par in my opinion) I enjoyed watching it if only to see the camaraderie between friends and opponents. Both Andy and Justin are such funny characters, very charismatic, and it showed at some points in the match and definitely at the end.
I reallyreallyreallyreally want to see Andy reach the finals, though, and if he plays the way he did today there is just no way. As much as I respect Federer and Nadal and acknowledge their greatness, I couldn't stand it if they match up during the finals and the only way to avoid that is if Federer is defeated. Heh. I'm getting a little ahead of myself. Here's to hoping Andy works out the kinks plays better in the 2nd round.
Also: the Williams' sisters won last night so that's great.
