If there's one thing I wanted this postseason it was to avoid a New York vs. New York world series. Thanks to the Yanks that became possible. Now if only the baseball gods listen to my prayers and make the Mets lose.
Anyway, I'm rooting my little heart out for the A's. They're my American League team and since I'm not exactly fond of any National League teams it was a simple choice. Plus, I love me some Zito! I want to seem him excel without Mulder and Hudson and this is his chance. (Aside: weren't they the hottest starting pitching lineup like ever!)
