out of the way section of the preserve: tuesday evening
Nathan had a few plans tonight. He was glad the weather seemed to have held out and that it was warm but not sweltering. It'd mean the night would be chilly enough to possibly start a fire but not get too hot. It meant that they could cook over the open flame, if they wanted, and that there'd be a nice light source.
Nathan made it out there first, settling several blankets down on the ground before he knelt down with his backpack of things. Some food, some drinks, his tablet, a book or two, and a few other odds and ends that he thought might be needed for this...date? Maybe a sleepover? A sleep out?
Whatever it was, Nathan was pretty excited that it was happening. No one had ever joined him when he slept outside before. Not Gabriel, not Annalise, not even Arran. But, Anders had volunteered and Nathan wanted the night to be nice and quiet and loud and...everything.
That might be reaching for too much but still. He wanted it to be a good night.
