Hmm...maybe these comments will keep you writing more effectively if I include some actual content. I really really like the characterization, and the interaction is really awesome...I like the idea of repetitions with some variation but with repeating themes, like the lands and weapons. And the evident confusion of the now-trolls about their previously-human relationships is really interesting.

Ummm...name suggestions. Wikipedia says that the rose flower is in the Order "Rosales", so you could go with "Rosale" for a six-letter name? But the Order is really big, and includes cherries, elms, nettles, and hemp. The family is "Rosaceae", but I can't make a pretty 6-letter name out of that.

The gemstone jade is "Jadeite", which could maybe become "Jadite"? It's a Pyroxene, which is too close to Pyrope. The word Jade is apparently also used for a different rock, Nephrite; in Greek it's apparently nefrítis, which could become "Nefrit"? Or we can always try something like "Jhayde". Jayden. Jaydah. Harley Nefrit.

And "Archippos" is apparently an ancient Greek name meaning "Master of Horses". Or if you're going for something closer to the sound of Equius, behindthename.com informs me that "Aquilinus" is an old Roman name.
