Also, I have heard it rumored that from June 15 - September 15, AHS will be having, for lack of a better term, a BOGO sale on cats. Adopt two cats, or one kitten and one cat at least one year of age, and pay only one adoption fee. Summertime is kitten time, and this program, along with "Mission Meow", is part of an effort to keep adult cats going to the loving homes they want and deserve.
Just some things to ponder.
Cassia, by the by, was considered an "adult cat" by AHS (one year), and I just can't imagine life without her. Adult cats are great for folks who want the love without the chaos of having wee small quadrupeds stampeding their home.
