In news having nothing to do with the election, I do hope you'll elect (my, how droll!) to check out the newest edition of Whistling Shade, now available online and at fine coffee purveyors and libraries across the Twin Cities. Among other fascinating things, the new issue includes the world premiere of "The Theater Machine," a (hopefully) regular theater column by yours truly. First up on the block, Theatre Unbound's upcoming production of Paula Vogel's deeply disturbing Pulitzer Prize winner, How I Learned To Drive.
