I've been drinking rather little-- maybe if you hadn't had the two martinis before logging into the blogosphere it'd have been clearer. ;) But yeah, you got the idea right. No Matt = sad. Pictures of Matt surfing = funny.

And for the record, I didn't mean funny in a "haha" way, but. . . wait, no, I think at the time I did. Anyway, I'm sure you'll be awesome soon, but I like to think that you would be half as bad as I think I would be, my first time, which means that I ought to be able to look at a picture of you getting ready to surf and think "Haha, he's getting ready to fall in the water." I mean in the ways you're not trying to.
