In France, Surrounded by Americans

Jul 03, 2007 20:00

So the most French I've gotten in today was finishing "Balzac et La Petite Tailleuse Chinoise" good read though, good read. I've been wandering around a lot, and Paris is nice when you can just walk around. The problem is that it was kind of crappy and rainy today, so I felt driven inside. "Foyer International des Etudiants" pretty much means English speakers with a sprinkling of East Asians. I kind of want to run away from the Americans here, they scare me. They remind me of the people I didn't hang out with in high school. But Pearl will be coming in a couple days and I'll be off to Verona, Venice, Rome, Nice, and Marseilles. W00t! Then I'll be home the 17th of July, which will be awesome. :) I'll see you all soon! (Except Matt if he reads this, probably not, or Brandon if he chooses to be pissed at me [I'm sorry that I'll be missing your birfday!])
