I did a speech on Princess Tutu today in class. Wavered back and forth between that and doing a speech on the Rajputs, to the point where I was up until 4am last night debating it. Er. No comment on Toji's accent, but I LOVE manga!Toji.

I don't like Manga!Shinji, I prefer his emo and quietly flawed but brave anime self.

I haven't gotten far enough to really judge manga!Toji yet, I think, but so far I think he's alright.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about manga!Shinji. He makes me laugh, but making him so snotty sort of...takes away an ability to empathize with him, somehow. At least for me. I know some people prefer him with "a backbone", though...
But yeah, I like sweet, flawed, depressed Shinji. XD;

The character I love the most is Kaji. Wait for him. He's SO GOOD.

...I'm also looking forward to Kaworu, for some crazy reason. There's something about him...being creepy and killing kittens that makes me laugh. He and Shinji are going to be quite the pair. XD;

Kaji wins for WORSE BACKSTORY IN EVA. And he doesn't angst. *GASP*

Kaworu is creepy. Makes me sad. I LIKED him in the Anime. :(

NO ANGST IN EVA?! That's like...crying in baseball! XD

I like him in the anime, too. Although part of it was he has Greg Ayres' voice in the Directors Cut. (Stupid sexy Greg Ayres?) But he seems...really interesting. I wish he had more than the one episode. (What is it with me and minor characters??) He's also in one of only two yaoi pairings that I ship. (KaworuxShinji, of course. I like Asuka, but she's too abusive, Rei's just creepy, and Misato...well, I guess I could ship it, maybe, but she's twice his age, dangit.

Fakir/Mytho is the other one, but you probably knew that.)

You get to see why Kaji does what he does. He's really admirable.

Asuka/Shinji manga wise is okay, it's more funny shounen dynamics. She even saved him from thugs. It's LOLOLOL. BUT I am also a Kaworu/Shinji fan, but I ship other yaoi pairings *g*

No, never. It was very realistic backstory (famine and low resources in a place full of orphans, the horror of the goverment oppression. It was realistic tragic). He's obsessed with undercover the truth since then.

Say is just fanservice! XD
