I never really cared about Pilgrims; I enjoy getting together as a family and eating good food tho. I get caught up in all the gift giving and wrapping because it brings us together, and there's something about surprises, however small, that's exciting.
I've never been a fan of Valentine's day tho. I vaguely know where it comes from but really, it's just a way for people to sell and buy pink shit. I've never really cared that I never had a valentines date or someone special or potentiall special during valentines. Recently tho, I don't know why, but I realized that I DO somewhat care. Deep down inside, there's something about giving chocolates and candy and flowers, and the total lack of creativity that's appealing to me.
Maybe next year?
