this morning i got to work and listened to alton and hortense ellis while reading my email and getting things ready to open. it really lifted my mood. there might be more to this ska thing than i first thought. (just kidding!)

i’m pretty sure i mentioned this somewhere else before, but the best song to walk around to is the jam’s “running on spot“. it’s not their best song to be honest, but it’s great to walk around to. (as is “boy about town”, obviously.)

you know maude is my guinea pig when she starts pop-corning (going crazy happy) to the bomb bassets. she seems to like it when i sing along. this is the first conclusive proof that she likes any sort of band, let alone of my favourites. she’s so cute.
