(no subject)
Well, this weekend was both just exactly what i needed, and not helpful at all. I had a blast going down to see auj... it was a perfect getaway. I miss her!!!!! hehe, well, at least i'll be home in 3 days, and i can see her all the time! Or at least when i'm going to be able to get out of the house, which isn't looking like much. I kinda really dread this christmas. There is more drama at home than at this sorority house, and that is saying a lot. Oh well, i guess i just have to deal w/ it... i've done it for years, so what's three weeks? blah... i'm not feeling sorry for myself... i want to go home, mostly to be w/ my sister, and ann. They both need me in different ways, and i hope i can really spend a lot of time w/ them. Well, I aced (or almost aced) my final this morning. 88!!!!!! And in that class, that's like getting a 120% I'm thrilled. Now if only my prof will give me that extra credit i'm trying to do, i might pull an A in that class. It's not a huge difference b/w getting a high B or an A, but since I have him next semester, and next year, plus the fact that apparently he's a really good one to write grad school apps, I really really want that A. Anyway, I need to study for my other final. This class its not a difference b/w an A and a B, its me trying to get a B, so I need to get my butt in gear. Well, that's all i can really say on this thing. There's plenty to talk about this weekend, but this dang internet is so public. Oh!!! lol... audrey has the best roomie ever... she may be a completely horrible person, but she just gave amanda and i the complete series of Sex and the City... I LOVE HER!!!!! We were cleaning out her closet, and she had a freakin' blockbuster in there. I could almost safely say that she had every movie ever made. But I was shocked when she didn't even care about half of what she had... so she gave it to us! Now all we'll have to do is split custody of the dvd's if we ever move apart. lol, that's certainly better than getting one or two every christmas and birtday. I think i'm way too addicted to that show. Well, off to call my sister... I really want to talk to her, but she's been so busy w/ Nutcracker that i haven't been able to track her down.
