Wishing the west coast was closer
Well this weekend was basically awesome!!! I was so worried that i wasn't gonna be able to go home this weekend, but it was so incredibley nice to see everyone. My three cousins, aunt and uncle were there from california. I already miss them... i pretty much spent the entire weekend hanging out with my cousins. They're a lot older than me, but they are so much fun! Andi was great... she's an SLP, so she was able to talk to me about the job i'm gonna be doing in not very long, so that was cool. It was fun when i was thinking about maybe being a SLP, but now that i'm actually in my major, and loving it, it makes it so much more special! Its so weird now... i used to just be the young little cousin, but now we all talk on the same level... its so much more fun! I really hope to keep in touch with them this time... of course i say this everytime i see them, but i have a feeling that since i'm older this time it might actually happen. You never know! I really saw clearly how close it is til the time comes that i have to decide where i want to go to grad school, and as i was talking to my cousins, i saw that i really do still want to go out to the west coast, but my parents are ready to flip about that. So more things to think about. Just what i need! Well, i'm trying to write this and watch Grey's Anatomy at the same time, so i think i'm gonna go back to my tv... after driving the interstate w/ a whole bunch of evacuee's, i'm tired!
