I actually don't feel joy or excitement
...but I do wish that you have a happy new year. May 2008 be better for you, than 2007, everyone.
And may February/March come sooner, with new Metalocalypse episodes. Wait, not TOO soon...deadlines, deadlines...
Maybe I'm not as excited or happy as everyone else, because of a resolution I made years ago and have successfully kept: no more resolutions. XD Damn; that's more than enough to suck the fun out of New Year's.
One thing: I sure hope that I didn't get affected TOO badly by the recent wave of dinners we've been hosting. It's certainly not surprising that I've gotten sick of chicken korma and pilau, after helping to finish the left overs for the past couple of weeks. No more... XP how far have I let myself go?
Another thing: I entered into the
capslokdethklok holiday contest. Thought I'd share that, with everyone. *shrugs* I hope my entry isn't made of suckage, y'know? It's got me thinking about whether or not I can pull off comedy successfully in prose, let alone literature in general...do I use hammy jokes? Is the style "trying too hard"? Do I make too many attempts at jokes that the writing actually doesn't become funny? Is my humour predictable?
