Memories of a fangirl in Japan

Oct 12, 2014 21:01

2014, September 10th, 10:30 pm, Kansai International Airport.
After 64 days in Japan, it was time for me to go back to France.

I knew I would cry. I was prepared to it. But I wasn't expecting to end up shaking and sobbing miserably on my chair as soon as I sat down, to the point of "worrying" a flight attendant and a fellow French guy xD

So yeah. I came back from Japan a little more than a month ago, 32 days ago to be precise. It's kind of weird because I remember the moment I bursted out crying on the plane very well but I feel like it was ages ago already...

As some of you may know, this year, the main purpose of my trip was to do my internship. I worked as an intern for the website Japan Travel for 8 weeks and it was...stressful. Much more stressful than I would have ever imagined. There were some moments I felt completely down because of the load of work. Trust me, having to write one article per day is NOT an easy thing to do xD

But it would be a complete lie to say that these 2 months were horrible. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I'm forever grateful to my sister who found this opportunity for me. I did things I never thought I could have done (Like no, capturing and releasing Asian black bears has never been on my to-do list 8D ) and I learned a lot about myself and my limits. For example, now I know that although I'm someone who loves being alone, I can't actually be alone for too long 8D

Also of course, since I was in Japan for quite a long time, I could not not attend some Johnny's shows~

This summer, like last year, I went to see 4 shows, all in Osaka. The first one was Johnny's WEST's stage play Typhoon Dreamer. Then I attended the second concert of A.B.C-Z's summer tour. And then I went to see Endless SHOCK twice, the second time being on September 9th which was actually the day before I left Japan :3

I always write down my thoughts when I come back from a show so that I don't forget details and can read everything later but I'm still not sure whether I will write proper reports to post here or not. I'll see what I do~

But I want to share a bit of my trip with you guys at least, so I made a quick video about my 9 weeks in Japan!

I'm not used to filming, plus I realized it's kind of embarassing when you're alone, so I actually didn't take much videos and the quality is not the best...Another thing to know is that the video focuses mainly on the fangirl side of my trip :p

If anyone is interested in knowing what I did aside from fangirling, feel free to check the articles I wrote~
