A fangirl in Osaka

Aug 04, 2014 11:53

A week ago, on the 28th of July, after 9 train/bus connections and a total of almost 14 hours of travelling from Naka-Karuizawa, I made it to my appartment in Tsukamoto, Osaka. In comparison, it took me about 15 hours to travel from France to Japan. Life is not easy when you don't have enough money to ride the Shinkansen xD

So I've been here for a week now. I'm fine but the internship is keeping me busy pretty much all the time (which is normal in a way since it's the reason why I came to Japan this time). I'm wondering if the other interns feel as stressed as me or if I'm the only one putting so much pressure on myself though...

Anyways, last Wednesday, I felt like I really needed a break so I decided to spend the day without thinking about finding a place or an event to write an article on. Here's a sum-up of that day, as well as some random things~

☆ I was in Namba so I decided to make a detour through the Shochikuza. Back then, the show hadn't started yet but the venue was ready to host Johnny's WEST's stage play Typhoon Dreamer~

☆ I went to the cinema to watch AKB's documentary The time has come. In 3 weeks in Japan, I went to the cinema more than in 3 years in France xD

It's a bit hard to make a summary of the movie since there isn't exactly a story but basically, it was a sum-up of what happened to AKB from Yûko's graduation announcement during last year's Kouhaku to Mayu's victory at the General Election in June.

The scenes that left the biggest impression on me are those about the Dai Sokaku Matsuri, especially that one with Rena. She was comforting some SKE members since she was the captain of Team E. She was trying to cheer them up so she had a big smile on her face but the second the doors of the elevator closed and she was alone, she suddenly bursted out crying...
The scene that shows the exact moment Yûko was told her graduation ceremony at the National Stadium was cancelled due to the weather also made me cry like a baby.

Because yes, for the first time of my life, I cried at the cinema. And I mean I cried. I was trying my best to hold back my tears during the first half of the movie but there was this moment the music stopped and I heared A LOT of people sobbing. So I decided to give up xD

☆ I already wrote it on twitter but I went to the Johnny's Shop and I found it quite hilarious that the restaurant that is right in front of the shop on the other side of the street is called...Hoku Hoku. Didn't buy any photo this time but this totally made up for it xD

On my way back to Namba, I was walking down Midosuji street when a billboard caught my eye.

I read on twitter before that it was somewhere around the Johnny's Shop but I wasn't expecting it 1) to be that big and 2) to be displayed on a main street. I can't even explain how much I love SHARK so I got a sudden wave of proudness seeing this ♥ ;___;

☆ There was that night I went to the Family Mart with the intention of only buying an ice cream. As I was hesitating which to choose, I suddenly heard Ryôsuke's voice coming from the radio. I had never heard about that before but apparently, Ebi has a special radio show that can only be heard at Family Mart! Well since it's a sponsored show, they were only talking about food and stuff like that but this got me wandering around the shop for maybe 15 minutes when I first came only to buy an ice cream xD

By the way, whenever I hear the jingle that plays when you enter a Family Mart, I can't help but think about Sô and the adorable dance he performed in Sexy Zone Channel x)

☆ I have a TV in my appartment and I like when I switch it on and randomly stumble upon shows with Johnny's :3 The other day, I saw this episode of Itadaki Jani, later the same night there was this episode of Piichike Paachike with Koichi who came as a guest to promote the upcoming performances of SHOCK in Osaka and yesterday, I got to catch the live broadcast of Gamushara Sexy Natsu Matsuri. I'm used to see the boys on my computer or on my mp4 player so it's kind of weird (in a good way of course!) to see them on TV aha!

☆I finally got my tickets for Johnny's WEST's stage play, Ebi concert and SHOCK~~~~~

And actually, I'm going to see Typhoon Dreamer tomorrow evening! It will be my first time seeing Johnny's WEST members live and it will also be my first Johnny's show for this year so I'm like SUPER EXCITED (*^o^)/
