Big or small, anyone can be a record-breaker

After years of good and loyal service, our TV died this morning.
I know we bought it quite a long time but I wasn't expecting Mom to tell me that we actually bought it before brother's birth, which means at least 14 years ago, which means WHEN I WAS AROUND 6!! (OMG D:) Well, considering that and the fact that we could see she wasn't really feeling well these past few days, I guess it's normal, her time has come xD

Problem was that tonight is the Johnny's World documentary night.
Fortunately, Mom is awesome. When she saw me crying in despair in front of my computer, trying to find a way to watch NHK World on the Internet, she went to the shopping mall and came back with a brand new TV ♥ ^o^*)/

We don't watch TV that much so we absolutely don't need the latest and greatest flat-screen TV with tons of veeeery expensive features we would never use anyway so it's just a simple TV. It works, I can watch NHK world with it: perfect. Oh, seems like technology has improved a bit in 14 years though because even without being an expensive TV at all, the screen is much more bigger than our previous one. Well, let's see if this will help this new TV to live a long life, at least as long as its predecessor. If yes, then it should still be in our living room in 14 years, when I'll be 34 xD

The documentary is starting in about 2 hours. Apparently, it will be 50 minutes long and there is a one hour time difference between France and London so it should end at 1am.
If I were a reasonable girl, I would go to bed and watch one of the many rebroadcast tomorrow.
But I'm not. So let's wait~ ^o^*)/
