Debut or not debut...?
A while ago, there was this rumor about a new Johnny's group. Some were talking about a mix between Tokyo Junior and some Bakalea members. Others were talking about a mix between Tokyo and Kansai Junior. Soon after this rumor appeared, a website, can't remember which one, announced that it would apparently be a group composed of Kin Kan members and two Bakalea boys, Jesse and Hokuto.
It was also written that we would know more about this when Myojo March issue preview would be available on January 23rd.
We are January 23rd. So the first thing I did when I woke up was to brush my teeth, get dressed and put on my make up just like I always do on a normal uni day. Then before leaving home, and that's probably a bit more exciting than my daily life, I checked if there was something new on Myojo's official page and as promised, the preview of the cover of March issue was there.
Shô, Kôji, Tôma, Jesse and Hokuto as cover models, we can read "Johnny's Jr. new era" (I'M ALL FOR IT ♥ 8D), also there will be "34 pages focusing on Junior" but sure enough, the word "debut" is not mentioned. Does it mean the debut idea was just a rumour in the end? I don't think so.
I'm only a fangirl who knows very little, not to say nothing, about Johnny's plans for the boys so everything I'll write from now will be my own personal thoughts. Don't take my word for it.
[So, let's see...]Before Sexy Zone debut annoucement, Myojo's homepage was also updated on September 23rd with this picture. Debut was not mentionned and yet, we all know now that a little less than a week later, the Sexy Zone debut announcement was made at the Imperial Theatre.
I have never followed Kanjuu's schedule as much as I follow Tokyo Junior's acitivites but I feel like Kanjuu are given more exposure lately, more than before, especially youngers ones. That's another reason that makes me want to believe this rumor. A Kansai Junior page has been opened on Johnny's net, they got a new show called Maido! Jani, there were many Kanjuu concerts at the end of the year, more are scheduled in the next months, they even performed at the City Hall at the beginning of the month.
Also February Shokura episodes were recorded on Monday and according to fan reports, Kin Kan members were there. Apparently, they didn't sing with Hokuto and Jesse but still, they were there. I really wonder why they took the time to come to Tokyo...
I've never really been interested in knowing more about Jesse or Hokuto. I've never been a "big" Hip Hop Jump or B.I Shadow fan and my feelings for them didn't change with Bakalea.
I know Kôji and Tôma's names and faces for quite a long time from some Kanjuu ni Q appearances but that was more or less all I knew about them. I have started to like them very much with Shô as Kin Kan members thanks to Maido! Jani.
To be honest, when I found out that the rumor was apparently concerning these five boys, I didn't get that excited. However, I'm very curious to see how everything will turn out, IF the rumor proved to be true of course because I can't picture them all together in the same group at all. For instance, who would be the "leader"...? Or where and how often would they meet since Tokyo and Osaka are not exactly close to each other...? And well, I'm maybe not "over" excited but still, I am very happy when new things are happening in the Junior :3
I'm probably talking nonsense but I like to think that things never happen randomly when it comes to Johnny's. So I'll keep a very close eye on everything related to this topic! (*^_^*)~☆
